Lindsey Nystrom is a GIS Manager at Fernleaf, where they lead the company’s geospatial initiatives to advance resilience through innovative & adaptive vulnerability assessments.
Lindsey joined Fernleaf as an intern in 2021, after spending three years gaining invaluable experience as a GIS Intern at the National Environmental Modeling and Analysis Center (NEMAC). They have also been involved in fossil fuel divestment work, sustainability advocacy through the Second Nature Carbon Commitment at UNC Asheville, and GIS consulting in the non-profit space. Lindsey is passionate about data-driven decision-making and is dedicated to building solutions that help communities and organizations adapt and prepare for the future.
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys weightlifting, petting dogs, and eating pineapple snow cones.
