Matt Hutchins

Matt Hutchins, CEO and Senior Resilience Specialist at Fernleaf, has fifteen years of experience supporting local governments and communities in resilience planning. He specializes in vulnerability and risk assessments, with extensive expertise in analyzing hazards to help communities develop a shared understanding about their vulnerabilities and prioritize resilience actions to address them. The assessments Matt and his team produce often consider future scenarios with resilience strategies that include nature-based solutions, community capacity building, land use and policies.
