Fernleaf led a Regional Resilience Plan for Southwestern Commission Council of Governments. The project helped the seven-county region identify potential hazards. Fernleaf organized a stakeholder workshop to pinpoint regional hazards and assets, then conducted a vulnerability and risk assessment that focused on threats such as flooding, wildfire, and landslides. The effort culminated in a final report that included detailed hazard descriptions and regional context, assessment findings, actionable recommendations for building resilience, and guidance for funding projects
